Don McCollin & Maureen Bryan set up McCollin Bryan in 1998, designing furniture and objects in their London studio. Their approach has been strongly driven by instinct and a mutual need 'to make'. The fusion of their backgrounds in textiles (McCollin at The Royal College of Art) and ceramics (Bryan at Middlesex Polytechnic) led to their distinctive portfolio of designs. Key to their working practice is the process of experimentation and the development of visual concepts.
